Enkay Exports (India) Limited

Enkay Exports (India) Limited is based out of Shastripuram. We have a few units here, C-94 and then a row from C-134 to C-138. It is a big area in the Epip zone, which is mostly just factories and warehouses. It can be quite a walk between the different sections if you are not careful. We do a lot of exporting, so there are always wooden crates and packing tape lying around. The floors are concrete and they get cold in the winter months. We have a lot of people working on the packing lines, making sure everything is wrapped up tight. It is noisy because of the tape guns and the forklifts moving back and forth. We don't have any carpets or fancy office furniture in the warehouse areas. It is just practical. The dust from the industrial area is hard to keep out, so we are always sweeping up. We have a small office section where the paperwork gets handled, but most of the action is on the floor. The sun beats down on the metal roofs during the day, making it pretty warm inside. We have big fans, but they only do so much. It is a lot of physical work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired. We just focus on getting the containers loaded on time so they can get to the port. It is a simple process, just very busy.
