Our place, Elley Electricals Pvt.Ltd., is located in Sriniwaspuri in New Delhi. Specifically, we are at N-7, and Vikas Sinha is the person who keeps everything running around here. It is a typical South Delhi neighborhood, meaning it is very crowded and finding a place to park is almost impossible most days. The office is not very big, and we have shelves reaching up to the ceiling packed with all sorts of electrical supplies and parts. It gets quite hot in the summer, and the noise from the street never really stops. We deal with a lot of walk-in customers and local repairmen who need specific bits and pieces for their jobs. Most of the time, the desk is covered in receipts and half-empty tea cups. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anything like that; we just talk to people when they come in and try to help them find the right wire or switch. It is a bit messy and we are always running out of space, but it’s been our home for a while. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the inventory is right and that we are ready for the next person who walks through the door. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when the power goes out and everyone needs supplies at once.
