Ecovita Foundation

Ecovita Foundation is on the first floor of 370-371/2, right on Sahi Hospital Road. We are in the Jangpura Extension and Bhogal area of South Delhi. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of history. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a few rooms where we keep our files and meet to discuss our projects. We spend a lot of time thinking about the environment and how we can help out locally. Being near the hospital means there’s always a lot of traffic and people around. We’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We aren't a corporate entity with big goals. We’re just people who live in Delhi and want to see things improve. Most of our days are spent on the phone or out in the community. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. Sometimes the office is a mess because we have so many projects going on at once. We don't mind, though. It shows that we’re actually doing something. We try to be as helpful as possible to anyone who walks in. You don’t need an appointment to talk to us. We’re just regular folks working out of a small office in South Delhi. It’s been a long journey but we’re still here, taking it one step at a time. That’s just how we operate.
