Dream Cars

You can find us at F-313 in Lado Sarai, right on M.B. Road. We’re very close to the Qutab Minar, so you can often see the top of the monument if you stand in just the right spot on the pavement outside. The traffic on M.B. Road is almost always heavy, and the constant sound of horns is something we have just learned to live with. We have a small yard where the cars are parked in rows. We spend a lot of time wiping dust off the windshields because of all the construction work happening nearby. The office is a small room with a couple of plastic chairs for people to sit while we talk things over. It’s not a big corporate showroom with glass walls; it’s more of a simple local spot. We’ve got a small fridge for cold water, which is a total life-saver in the Delhi summer heat. The floor is just simple stone, and we try our best to keep it clean. Sometimes tourists wander in by mistake thinking we sell souvenirs because of the location. We usually have the radio playing some music in the background to drown out the noise from the road. The sun sets behind the tall buildings across the street, and that’s usually when things start to quiet down. We’ve been in Lado Sarai for quite a while now. It’s a good spot despite the traffic and dust.
