Dr. Nalini Mahajan (Mother & Child Hospital)

This is Dr. Nalini Mahajan’s place, located inside the Mother & Child Hospital over at D 59 in Defence Colony. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We deal with moms and their kids all day long, which means there is usually a lot of noise and energy in the hallway. Defence Colony is a nice area, and being at D 59 makes it easy for folks to find us. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The hospital itself isn't massive, but it’s got what we need to take care of patients. Most days start early with checkups and end late when the last kid finally leaves. We don't have any flashy signs or big marketing stuff. It’s just us doing our work. The rooms are plain, painted in light colors to keep things calm, though that doesn't always work with a crying toddler. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about feeding and health stuff. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The staff here is used to the pace. We know many of the families because they keep coming back as their kids grow up. It’s nice to see that. If you are looking for D 59, it’s right there in the middle of the colony. We are usually here, just getting through the daily list of appointments and making sure things are okay.
