Our small setup is located over at Deepmala Apartments in Village Tigri. It is actually just a flat, No D-3, which we use as our main base for managing the house development stuff we do in New Delhi. Being in a residential building means we are right where the action is, surrounded by the same kinds of homes we work on. It’s not a shiny glass office building or anything like that. It feels more like a home office because it basically is one. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the desks here figuring out schedules and talking to contractors. Sometimes the neighbors pop by just to say hello or ask about what we are working on next. The area around Tigri can get pretty busy, and finding parking nearby is always a bit of a challenge for visitors. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We handle the local development projects and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible, though construction always has its delays. It’s just how it goes. If you come by, you’ll likely see a few of us drinking tea and staring at maps or project folders. We keep things pretty informal. There’s no dress code or anything, just plain shirts and a lot of work to get through before the day ends in 110062.
