Dhruvs Conservation Foundation

We are located in the Sheikh Sarai Phase I area, right in the DDA Flats. Our specific spot is Treveni Apartments, C-324. It is a nice, green part of the city, and we are working on conservation efforts from here. We aren't a huge environmental group with offices all over the world. We are just a local foundation operating out of an apartment. It is a quiet place to work, though sometimes the neighbors' kids can be a bit loud in the hallways. Our office is full of books and papers about the local ecosystem. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who are passionate about keeping Delhi a bit greener. We spend a lot of our time planning local projects or talking to people about how to conserve resources in their own homes. We don’t have a big marketing team to tell our story. We just do the work and hope people notice the difference. Sometimes we have to go out and do site visits, so the office might be closed for a few hours. We don’t have a fancy answering service, so we just call people back when we get in. It is a very simple way of running things, but it works for us. We are just trying to do our part for the planet from our small corner of Sheikh Sarai. It keeps us busy and we feel good about the effort.
