We spend most of our time out in the heat, honestly. Being based in East of Kailash at F-34 means we’re right in the thick of it when the summer hits Delhi. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with toolboxes and copper pipes leaning against the walls. It’s not fancy. My cousin and I started this because we knew how to fix things that break. Some mornings start early with a quick tea before the calls start coming in for ACs that stopped blowing cold air. We don’t have a big front desk or anyone in a suit. Most of the time, the floor has some dust from the latest unit we brought in for a deep clean. People around here know where to find us if they need a hand with their cooling. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to get the van out, but we manage. We’ve seen all kinds of old machines that people don't want to give up on. It’s good work, even if it gets sweaty. We keep a stash of spare parts in the back room so we don't have to keep running to the market every five minutes. The phone rings a lot in May and June, then things get a bit quieter. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day after day. We don't have a flashy website, just a phone that stays on. That is the Dhrishticone way of doing things.
