Dhar Trading Company

Our office is on the first floor at 99, Kailash Hills, in the East of Kailash area. It’s a decent place to work, though finding parking around here can be a real pain some days. We are a trading company, so a lot of our time is spent on the phone or on the computer tracking where things are. We don't actually make anything here. Instead, we act as the middle ground, sourcing things and getting them to where they need to go. The office is usually cluttered with files, invoices, and samples of whatever we are currently trading. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know how the logistics work. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for calls from suppliers or transport guys. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait to send out our emails, which is frustrating when you have a deadline to meet. We’ve been based in this part of Delhi for quite a while now. Most of our day is just regular office work, nothing too exciting or glamorous. We keep track of our ledgers and make sure the accounts are mostly right at the end of the month. It's a steady way to make a living and we’ve built some good relationships with the people we buy from over the years. We just keep doing the work that comes in and hope the traffic isn't too bad in the evenings.
