Design Ocean

Design Ocean is our small setup in Kalkaji, right near the HDFC Bank. We have been in this spot at B-7-B for a good while. It’s a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly us trying to keep things organized. We handle design work, but we don't treat it like some high-art form. For us, it’s a job where you have to be practical. We spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and trying to figure out how to squeeze everything into a small room. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of phone calls to vendors who are running late. We aren't a big agency with a flashy front desk. Usually, if you come in, you’ll find one of us buried under a pile of catalogs or sketches. We like being in Kalkaji because it feels central and we know the area well. Sometimes we take a break and grab a snack from the local shops nearby. Our team is close-knit, and we’ve worked together long enough to know how each other thinks. We don't use a lot of big words to explain what we do—we just sit down with a pencil and paper and start working. It’s a straightforward approach, and it seems to work for the people who come to see us. We are just regular people trying to make spaces look a bit better than they were before we arrived.
