D Cad

D Cad is located on the third floor of G 1409 in Chittaranjan Park, or C R Park as everyone calls it. We are near Market Number 2, which is great because the food there is amazing, especially the snacks in the evening. Our building is right opposite Chandralok Cinema Hall, so it’s a very easy landmark to find. Since we are on the third floor, we get plenty of steps in every day because there isn't a lift. The office is a bit of an attic space, which gives it a strange shape but plenty of light. It’s 110019, one of the most famous parts of South Delhi. The atmosphere in C R Park is different from the rest of the city; it’s slower and feels more like a village sometimes. Inside the office, things are pretty casual. We have our machines set up and a few old chairs for when someone drops by to chat. It’s not a sterile environment. There are stacks of paper and empty tea cups on most surfaces. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you just walk right into the middle of the work. The noise from the market and the cinema hall filters up through the windows, but we’ve learned to tune it out. It’s a comfortable, slightly messy place where we just get things done.
