Nehru Place is famous for being a tech hub, but it’s also home to us at Crescent Shipping Agency Ind Ltd. We are located in the Pragati Devika Tower, specifically in room 704. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know how crowded it gets with people looking for computer parts or fixing phones. Our tower is one of those tall buildings that has a bit of everything in it. From our windows on the 7th floor, we can see the rush of New Delhi below. We handle a lot of agency work for shipping, which involves a massive amount of paperwork and coordination. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and staring at spreadsheets, mixed with quick calls to the customs office or the port. The office is functional. We have our printers, our water cooler, and rows of filing cabinets that are probably getting too full. We don’t have a minimalist designer office. It looks like a place where people actually work. There are post-it notes stuck to every monitor and someone is usually looking for a stapler. We like being in the 110019 area because it feels central. Even though it’s a big company name, the people in this office are just a small group trying to keep everything on track. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just stay busy and try to avoid the worst of the elevator queues.
