Craftdeal International

Our office is located on the ground floor of A/17 in Dayanand Colony. It is right in the middle of Lajpat Nagar-IV, which is a pretty lively part of town. Craftdeal International has been here for several years now. Since we are on the ground floor, it is easy for people to drop by with samples or pick up packages. We deal with a lot of international shipping, so there are always boxes stacked up near the door. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stock and paperwork everywhere. It is mostly desks and storage shelves. We spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone talking to people overseas. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we have to keep things relatively quiet. Sometimes the narrow streets make it hard for the delivery vans to get close, so we end up carrying stuff to the corner. It is a lot of manual work disguised as office work. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the packing, the documentation, and the sourcing. It gets chaotic during the holidays when everyone wants their orders at once. We usually just grab a quick bite from the local stalls nearby and keep working. It is a busy life, but we like being in this part of Delhi. It feels like we are right in the thick of things. The neighbors are mostly families who have lived here forever.
