Container Rail Road Services (P) Ltd, Dp World Intermodal

We’re located over at House No. 1053 on Street No. 42 in the E Block of Molar Band Extension. It’s right by the Badarpur Border, which is a pretty chaotic area with all the traffic coming in and out of New Delhi. We operate under the name Container Rail Road Services (P) Ltd, Dp World Intermodal. Because we’re so close to the border, we see a lot of action every single day. The office is basically just a room where we keep our files and computers to track all the rail and road shipments. It’s a lot of work trying to coordinate between the trains and the trucks, and sometimes things get a bit messy with the timing. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything; it’s just a practical workspace where we sit and drink tea while we sort out the day's problems. The street outside is usually full of people and small shops, so there’s always something going on. We’ve got a routine down now, starting early in the morning and staying until the last reports are filed. It’s a tough business sometimes, especially when there are delays at the yard or on the road, but we’ve got a good crew here who knows how to handle it. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we're just a bunch of people working in the logistics sector near the border. We keep the containers moving as best we can and try to keep things simple. It’s a grind, but it’s our grind.
