Our office is over in Greater Kailash 2, right on the first floor of M10. It’s a decent area, and we like being here because it’s central for everyone. The Foundation started small and it’s still pretty small, to be honest. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or anything. Most of our furniture is stuff we found or bought second-hand. It works fine for us. We spend a lot of time talking to people from all over Delhi. The phone rings a lot, and half the time it’s someone looking for a different office, but we try to help them anyway. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes to get everything done before the sun goes down. We aren't trying to be the biggest organization out there. We just want to do our part. The team here is a mix of young and old. We argue a bit about the best way to do things, but we always figure it out. It’s just how we operate. We don’t have any fancy brochures. If people want to know what we do, they usually just sit down and have a chat with us. It’s a more personal way of doing things. The building itself is a bit older, so the stairs can be a bit creaky. We’ve gotten used to the sounds of the neighborhood by now. It feels like home to most of us who spend all day here. We just take it one day at a time.
