Our office is over in Safdarjung Development Area, specifically at C-1/19. SDA is a nice part of town, though finding parking near the building is always a bit of a struggle for everyone. Inside, it’s a pretty standard setup. We have desks, some old filing cabinets, and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. Even though it says private limited in the name, we feel more like a small group of people just trying to get things done. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in what we do. We spend hours on the phones or typing away at keyboards. It’s not very glamorous. Sometimes we have lunch together at one of the small places nearby if we have the time. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few notes taped up near the light switch. We’ve got some storage boxes stacked in the hallway because we haven't found a better place for them yet. The windows look out onto the street, so we see people walking their dogs or heading to the market. It’s a fairly quiet atmosphere most of the time. We try to keep things organized, but on busy weeks, the desks get buried under files. It’s a local operation, and we like being in this part of Delhi. It feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. We at Black Jack India just keep our heads down and work.
