Bihari Humancare Foundation

We’ve got a space down in the basement at L-68/B in Malviya Nagar. It’s a bit cooler down there during the summer, which is a blessing in Delhi. Bihari Humancare Foundation is what we call ourselves, but really, we’re just a small group trying to help out folks who are struggling. Malviya Nagar is a big, busy place, and sometimes people get lost in the shuffle. We try to be a spot where someone can come if they need a bit of support. Our basement isn't fancy. We have some old furniture and a lot of files. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what we're here for. We’re here to work. We talk to people, listen to their problems, and see what can be done. It’s very practical. We don't promise to solve everything, because that wouldn't be true. We just do what's possible. Most people find us through word of mouth. Someone tells a friend, and they show up at our door. We like it that way. It feels more real. If you’re walking around Malviya Nagar, look for our entrance. It’s nothing special to look at, just a door leading down, but there’s always someone inside ready to have a sensible conversation about how to help.
