Bhuili Birshahpur Welfare Foundation

Bhuili Birshahpur Welfare Foundation is located right in the middle of Vishwakarma Colony. Our space is Flat 207 on the second floor, spanning across F-6 and F-7. It’s a busy area in Pul Pehladpur, so there’s always noise from the street below. We started this because we saw a lot of things that needed fixing in the neighborhood. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep the doors open most of the day so people can just walk in if they need help with something or have a question. It’s mostly just a few tables and some old filing cabinets we’ve had forever. We don't spend money on fancy things because that's not why we are here. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and we keep meaning to change the bulb. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We handle a lot of different welfare tasks, mostly just helping folks navigate through daily hurdles. Being in Pul Pehladpur means we are close to the people who actually need us. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just sit here, drink our chai, and handle whatever comes through the door. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Vishwakarma Colony community. Most of us live nearby anyway, so it feels like home to us.
