Bhaskaran Architect

I’ve been working out of this space at East Of Kailash, Sant Nagar 75, for quite some time. It’s a familiar part of the city for me. My office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's filled with cabinets of old drawings and a couple of computers that have seen better days. I spend most of my time here sketching out ideas or looking over building codes. It’s a one-man operation for the most part, though I have friends I call when I need an extra hand with something. People stop by frequently because they know the address. Sant Nagar is a crowded area, but I like being in the middle of it. It feels like real life is happening just outside the window. I don't use a lot of technical talk with my clients. I just try to show them how a room will look or where a wall should go. Sometimes I get stuck on a design for a few hours, so I go for a walk down the street to clear my head. Then I come back and get back to work. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know how the buildings are put together. It’s a simple life. I keep my own hours and take on projects that I think I can handle well. There’s no big corporate structure here, just me at my desk in East Of Kailash doing what I know how to do.
