Bharti Color Lab

Bharti Color Lab is tucked away in the Savitri Cinema Complex over in Greater Kailash II. We are at number 19, right where most people go for the movies. It’s a small shop, but we’ve got all the gear needed for processing photos and prints. Most days, it’s just the smell of chemicals and the sound of the printers running in the background. We’ve been doing this for a long time, back when everything was on film, though obviously things have shifted now. The lights inside are a bit bright because we need to see the colors clearly. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but it works for what we do. Customers usually drop off their stuff and then go grab a coffee or see a film while they wait. We try to get things done as fast as we can, but sometimes the machines have a mind of their own. It gets a bit hectic on weekends when the mall is full. We have stacks of paper and old frames sitting around the corners. It’s a bit cramped, but it feels like home to us. If you’re in GK II and need some prints, just look for the Savitri complex. We’re right there in the middle of it all, doing our best with every photo that comes across the counter. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
