Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited

We are located up on the 5th floor of Bhel House at Siri Fort. It’s the corporate office, but it doesn't always feel as formal as you’d think. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited is a huge name, but at the end of the day, it’s just people sitting at desks and walking down long hallways. The view from the 5th floor is alright, though we mostly just look at the computer screens. Siri Fort is a nice area, very different from the noisy industrial parts of the city. It’s a bit more peaceful here, though the office itself is always buzzing with people talking and phones ringing. We have these long tea breaks where everyone gathers to complain about the commute or talk about their weekend. The elevators can be slow in the mornings, so a lot of us end up taking the stairs just to get a move on. It’s a big building, and sometimes you get lost if you’re looking for a specific department. We don't have a lot of personal stuff on our desks, just the essentials to get through the day. It’s a lot of paperwork and emails, the kind of stuff that never really ends. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a stable place to be, and there’s a sense of order to everything, even when things get a bit hectic.
