Bell Helicopter India Operations

Our India operations are based in Jasola, at the District Center. We’re up on the 3rd floor of the Corporate One building. It’s a decent-sized office where we handle the business side of helicopters. You might think it’s all very exciting, and it is, but a lot of it is also just emails, phone calls, and making sure the technical details are correct. Bell has a long history, but here in the Jasola office, we’re just a group of people working to keep things moving. We deal with a lot of different parts of the aviation world. The view from the third floor is okay, mostly looking out at the other buildings in the center. It’s a professional environment, but we try not to be too stiff about it. We’re more focused on getting the details right for the pilots and the companies that use the aircraft. I’ve been here for some time, and you learn that accuracy is the most important thing in this line of work. We don't have a lot of flashy posters or anything like that; it’s mostly technical manuals and computers. Jasola is a busy hub, so there’s always people coming and going. We just stay focused on our tasks. It’s a specialized job, and we take it one day at a time, making sure the operations across India are running like they should without any fuss. The work keeps us busy from morning to evening and we enjoy the rhythm.
