A.V. Rama Foods & Agro Private Limited is situated on the ground floor of property 205 in the Jonapur area. We are near Khasra 124/126, which is in South Delhi. It’s an interesting part of the city because you still see a bit of the old village character mixed in with the new buildings. Our office is pretty basic and functional. We handle food products and agricultural goods, so there’s often a smell of spices or grain in the air depending on what we’re moving that week. We have a few desks and a small area where we check the quality of our supplies. It’s not a polished corporate environment. The floor is just plain cement and the furniture is old. We spend a lot of time on the phone with distributors and vendors. Sometimes the power goes out in Jonapur, so we have to sit around and wait for it to come back so we can use the computers again. We aren't interested in using fancy marketing words or making huge claims. We just want to get the food items from the sources to the shops without any hassle. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of numbers in our ledgers. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short commute. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks of the food and agro trade, making sure everyone gets what they ordered.
