Asmi Foundation

Asmi Foundation is tucked away at 173-A/3 in the C-Block of Ward Number 3, over in Mehrauli. If you know Mehrauli, you know it’s one of the oldest parts of the city with lots of narrow lanes and history. Our office is on the second floor, and it’s pretty modest. We’ve got the basics covered, a few desks, some chairs, and plenty of files. We aren't here to look important. We’re here because we live in this area and we care about what happens in our streets. The work we do isn't always exciting. A lot of it is just talking to people and trying to figure out solutions to everyday problems. We don't have a big budget for fancy things. We just try to be useful. Some days it feels like we’re making progress, and other days we’re just pushing paper. But that’s how it goes for a small foundation like Asmi. We don't use corporate speak or try to sound like we know everything. We’re just learning as we go, same as everyone else. If you’re wandering through Ward No. 3, you might see our sign. It’s nothing big. We prefer to keep a low profile and just focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a quiet way to work, and it suits us just fine here in Mehrauli. We aren't looking for praise, just trying to be a good part of the community we live in.
