We are situated at No.16, 501-C, in Sanik Farms, specifically on Lane W27/4 along Western Avenue. It’s a bit of a quiet, leafy part of the area, which is nice because it’s not as frantic as the main markets. Our space at Asiatex is mostly filled with rolls of fabric and various textile samples. We spend a lot of time measuring out cloth and checking the weave for any snags or mistakes. The light in the afternoons is quite good for seeing the colors properly. We have a few long tables where we spread everything out to cut or inspect it. It’s a pretty simple setup. There are threads all over the floor no matter how much we sweep. Most of our work is about keeping track of orders and making sure the right fabric gets sent to the right place. We aren't a big factory with loud machines, it’s more about the handling and sorting of the materials. Sometimes we have clients come by to look at the samples, and we just sit around the main table and show them what we have. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, and we don't wear uniforms or anything like that. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and try to stay organized. The lane outside is usually pretty peaceful, which makes for a calm workday. We’ve been here for a while and like the slow pace of this specific neighborhood. It makes the work feel less like a chore.
