Arvind Constructions

Arvind Constructions is situated in the Govindpuri area of Kalkaji. It’s a very busy part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of people moving around at all hours. Our office is a small room that serves as our main base. It’s got a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep the air moving. We don't have any polished floors or expensive art on the walls. Instead, we have site photos and stacks of invoices. Arvind usually sits at the main desk, which is covered in notebooks and pens. We aren't a big company with an HR department. We are just a few people who know how to build things. Most of our day is spent out on the sites, so the office is often empty for hours at a time. When we are here, we are usually arguing about schedules or drinking tea from the shop next door. We don't have a philosophy or a brand. We just know how to handle bricks and mortar. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it doesn’t bother us much. We’ve been in this part of Kalkaji for a long time and we’ve seen it grow. We just keep doing our work, one day at a time, without making a big fuss about it. It’s a practical, local business that runs on hard work and lots of tea.
