Artville - The Creative Living

Our place is in Lajpat Nagar Part-4, specifically at O-20 on the second floor of the Old Double Storey area. If you are looking for us, the Shiv Mandir is a good landmark nearby. Lajpat Nagar is always crowded and noisy, but we have gotten used to the energy of the neighborhood. The office is not very large, and the stairs leading up to the second floor are a bit narrow. Inside, you will mostly find us surrounded by sketches and different fabric swatches. We focus on creative living spaces, which basically means we spend a lot of time figuring out how to make a room look decent and work well for the people in it. We are not the type of people who wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our ideas come from sitting around a wooden table with a pot of tea. There is usually some clutter, and we often have drawings pinned to every available bit of wall space. It is a very hands-on way of working. We spend a lot of time talking to the local craftsmen who help bring our designs to life. Some days are spent entirely on the phone or stuck in Delhi traffic moving between sites. We do not have a polished corporate setup; it is just a bunch of us working hard to make things happen. We enjoy the mess and the process of creating something from nothing, even when it gets a bit chaotic.
