Allied Battery House

If you head down to the Truck Market in Chattarpur, you’ll find us at Shop No 380 on the Main Road. Allied Battery House is basically a wall-to-wall stack of batteries. It’s a dusty place because of all the trucks passing by on the main road, but that’s just how it is here. I’ve been sitting behind this counter for a long time. We deal with all sorts of batteries for vehicles and other things. There isn't much room to walk inside once we get a fresh shipment. We don't have a fancy sales pitch or a uniform. I usually just wear my old clothes because batteries can be messy work. The truck market is always loud with engines revving and drivers shouting. We are right in the middle of that chaos. People stop by because their truck won't start or they need a replacement. We don't spend time on social media or anything like that. Our business is built on the fact that we are here when someone is stuck. Shop No 380 is easy to spot if you look for the piles of old casings outside. We take care of our regulars, mostly local drivers and mechanics. It’s a straightforward life. We open when the sun comes up and stay until the market slows down. It’s just a battery shop on a busy road, nothing more, nothing less.
