A.K.W. Businesspagesctronics operates out of B-177 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-1. If you have ever been to Okhla, you know how hectic it gets with the trucks and the narrow lanes. Our unit is right in the middle of all that action. It is a solid brick building that has seen better days, but it keeps the rain out and gives us enough room for our benches. We mostly deal with business electronics, so there are always stacks of circuit boards and manuals lying around. The noise from the neighboring units is constant, but it keeps us energized. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist; you just walk in and find someone working. The walls are painted a plain off-white that has turned a bit grey over the years. We spend most of our hours troubleshooting or packing up orders to go out. The air in Phase-1 is always heavy with the smell of industry and exhaust, and our little spot is no different. We keep the coffee pot going and try to stay organized, even when the floor gets cluttered with shipping crates. It is a practical space for practical work. No one bothers with uniforms or formal talk here. We just get through the pile of work on the desk and move on to the next one. It’s been our home base for a long time and we like the grit of the area. There’s always something to do.
