Akshars Designs

Akshars Designs is on the first floor at 1895, Uday Chand Marg in Kotla Mubarakpur. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a pretty functional space. We do design work, mostly for local shops or individuals who need something looked at. We have a couple of old computers that have seen better days, but they still do the job. The walls are covered with some of our old projects, and there are always books about art and design lying around. Kotla Mubarakpur is a crowded place, so it can get a bit loud with all the traffic and people outside. We don't have a big team or a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us sitting at our desks working on a layout. We don't talk like those big agencies. We just say things as they are. Sometimes a design takes a few tries to get right, and we are honest about that. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the things we make look decent. The floorboards creak a little, and it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we are used to it. It’s a small, local spot where we just focus on the task at hand. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to chat. Sometimes we take a break and get tea from the stall downstairs. It’s just a regular day here.
