Ajanta Digital Studio

Our studio is at H-60 in South Extension 1. We are very close to Bengali Sweets which is a landmark everyone in this part of Delhi knows. It is a very busy area and finding parking can be a real problem some days. Inside the studio, it is a bit quieter but still active. We have various cameras and lenses and a small space for people to pose for portraits. We spend a lot of time editing photos on our old computers or refilling the ink in the printers. The shop has been around for a long while and we have many regulars who live in the neighborhood. We aren't interested in being a big corporate studio. We just like taking photos and helping people save their memories. Sometimes the shop smells a bit like the chemicals we used to use or just the general smell of paper and electronics. We have a lot of frames on display, some of them are a bit dusty. People stop by for quick passport shots or to get photos from their phones printed out. It’s a very straightforward business. We keep the doors open most of the day so you can hear the traffic from the main road. It is just a local spot where we do our work day in and day out. We have a small staff and we usually take turns going for lunch at the nearby stalls. It is a simple life here in South Ext.
