Abdul Motors

Abdul Motors is located at Nehru Nagar 40. It’s a straightforward garage where we spend most of our time under the hoods of cars or working on bikes. The floor is usually covered in some kind of oil or grease, no matter how much we try to sweep it. We have a few basic tools and a lot of experience with engines that won't start. People from around the neighborhood bring their vehicles here when they make a strange noise. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. Usually, customers just stand around and talk to us while we work. It gets pretty loud when we are testing an engine or using the air compressor. The summers are the hardest because the metal gets so hot to touch. We just keep a fan going and drink plenty of water. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We don’t bother with fancy signs or advertisements. People know where we are if they need a repair. Sometimes we have to wait a couple of days for parts to be delivered, which can be annoying for the owners. But we do what we can with what we have. It’s just us here, making sure things keep running on the road. We’ve been at this spot for years.
