At Abcl Impex Private Limited, we do all our business from the third floor of House Number K-15 in Hauz Khas Enclave. It’s a nice enough area, though climbing those stairs every morning definitely keeps us in shape. We’ve been here for a bit now, focusing on the import and export trade. Our space is mostly taken up by desks and filing cabinets. We aren't the type of people to wear suits to work; usually, it’s just jeans and a shirt. We handle a lot of different commodities. Each day is different depending on what’s coming in or going out. Some days we are buried under customs forms, and other days we’re just chatting with suppliers over the phone. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. We just try to be straight with everyone we deal with. If there’s a delay with a container, we tell the customer immediately so they aren't left wondering. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us working together. We often order lunch from the small places nearby and eat at our desks while we work. It’s a simple life, and we like the routine of it. We don’t need anything flashy to get the job done right. It's just about staying organized and keeping the shipments moving through the system properly.
