Aal Institute (All About Learners) Foundation

We are way up on the 4th floor of house number 1252. It’s in Gali number 10 in Govindpuri, Kalka ji. Climbing those stairs every morning definitely keeps us in shape. The Aal Institute, or All About Learners Foundation as some call it, is tucked away here. Govindpuri is a very crowded place, so being on the 4th floor gives us a little bit of peace from the street noise below. It’s just a few rooms filled with desks and learning materials. We don't have an elevator, so we tell everyone to take their time coming up. The light is actually pretty good up here during the day. We spend most of our time working with whatever we have. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we use what we've got. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that’s not a priority right now. We are more focused on the learners and the work we do. It feels like a real part of the community because we are right in the middle of these narrow lanes. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. It's a busy, lively spot and we are happy to be here. The neighbors are usually nice, even when we make a bit of noise moving chairs around. We hope to stay here for a long time.
