Aakriti Architects & Landscape Consultants is over in the Kalkaji area. We don’t have a specific house number on the main address, but everyone around Kalkaji knows the general vibe of the neighborhood. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and we are right in the thick of it. Our office is a mix of architectural stuff and things for the landscape side of the business, so you might see some plant samples or soil notes lying around alongside the usual blueprints. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but we know where everything is. The team is usually busy debating where a certain wall should go or what kind of trees would work best for a specific garden. Kalkaji has its own rhythm, and we’ve definitely become a part of it. The traffic outside can be loud, but we’ve got some thick windows to keep the noise down. We aren't the type to wear suits to work; it’s more of a sleeves-rolled-up kind of place. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at screens, trying to figure out the best way to use a piece of land. It’s practical, honest work. People from the area stop by quite often just to ask a quick question about their own houses. We like being part of the Kalkaji community and just doing our thing day in and day out without too much fuss.
