This place is out in Telerabad, specifically at Plot 4 and 5 in Netaji Nagar. If you know the area, it's near Jodakalan and it’s a bit of a drive from the main parts of Port Blair. We are set up on Survey No 51/1. It’s a lot quieter out here than in the middle of town. We spend our days looking after the grounds and making sure the resort stays in decent shape. The grass grows fast in this weather so there is always some cutting to do. It’s mostly just the sounds of birds and the wind out here. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People find us because they want to stay somewhere that isn't right on top of the market. The South Andaman air is usually pretty thick with salt and humidity, which keeps us busy with maintenance. We have a few staff members who stay on-site to help out. Sometimes the internet is spotty, but that is common around these parts. We focus on the basic things like making sure the rooms are ready and the lights work. It’s a straightforward operation. We’ve been here for a bit and we just take things one day at a time. It’s a lot of work running a resort in this climate, but we keep at it because it’s what we do.
