St Jude Travels & Tours

You can find us on the first floor of the Marthoma Church Complex in Port Blair. It is room number 9. We are in the Goal Ghar area, which is a pretty well-known part of town for most residents. It is just a small team of us here at St Jude Travels & Tours. We spend our days helping people plan their trips around the islands. Port Blair is a unique place to work, especially with the tourists coming in from the mainland. Our office is not very large, just enough room for a few desks and some chairs for our visitors. We have some maps on the wall and a lot of notebooks for keeping track of the different bookings. Being in the church complex makes it easy for people to give directions to us. We have been operating from here for a while now. We know the ferry schedules and which islands are best to visit depending on the current weather. It is practical work. We do not use a lot of fancy marketing talk, we just tell people what we know from living here. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common on the island, so we just wait it out. We handle a lot of phone calls from people asking about the weather or boat timings. We are not a big agency, just a local office with people who actually live here. We try to keep things simple and help out whoever walks through the door during the day.
