K. R. M Travels

K. R. M Travels is based out of Havelock No. 3, which is a place we’ve called home for a long time. Being in South Andaman gives us a pretty good view of how things work on the islands. We aren't tucked away in some big office tower; we're right here on the ground where the action is. Port Blair is our base, and we spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of moving people from one point to another. It's not always easy, especially when the weather acts up or the ferries are running late, but we manage to get things sorted. Our space is simple and functional. We have some desks and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of who is going where and when they need to be there. It’s a bit of a trek to get out to this part of the islands for some, but for us, it’s just the daily routine. We know the local paths and the best times to travel better than most people who just moved here. It’s just a few of us working together, making sure the cars are clean and the drivers know the route they are taking. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy slogans. We just talk to people, figure out what they need, and try to make it happen for them. It’s a small operation, and that is how we like it. People know where to find us if they need help with their island travels.
