Tola Machinery

We are located in the village of Satyanarayanpur. It’s out near the S. B. High School in Gosaba. Being in a rural spot like this means things move a bit slower, which we don't mind. Tola Machinery is basically just a workshop where we fix and maintain machines for people in the area. The school is the best landmark to use if you're trying to find us. We get a lot of dust from the road when the buses go by. It’s a simple building with a tin roof. When it rains, it gets really loud inside, so we usually have to stop talking and just work. We've been here for several years now. Most of our neighbors are farmers or have small shops like ours. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing where we are. The tools we use are basic but they do the job. Sometimes it's hard to get spare parts delivered all the way out here to Gosaba, so we have to be creative and fix things ourselves. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment because of the dirt that blows in from the fields. It's just me and a couple of others most days. We don't really have set hours, we just work until the job is done or the sun goes down. It’s a quiet life for the most part, away from the big city noise. We like it here.
