Our place, Titan Leather Pvt. Ltd., is at 2A Golam Jilani Khan Road. If you walk into our building, the first thing you’ll notice is the strong smell of leather. It’s a scent we’ve all grown used to over the years. We spend our days handling hides and checking textures. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of cutting and stitching. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; it’s just this building where we do all our work. Some of the machines are a bit temperamental, but we know how to handle them. The street outside can get a bit congested with deliveries, but that’s just life in this part of town. We are a small group of people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't go around making big claims about being the best. We just try to do a decent job on every piece that comes through. The walls have a few scuffs and the floor is stained from the dyes, but it shows we actually work here. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, just look for one of us in the back. We might have some scraps on our clothes, but we’re always ready to talk business. It’s a practical way to run things. We usually have a quick break in the afternoon to have some tea and rest our hands.
