Down on NSC Bose Road in Kolkata, things are always moving fast. We are Sparta Cements And Infra Limited, and our office sits right in the thick of it. If you know this part of West Bengal, you know the traffic and the noise are just part of the deal every single day. We’ve got a small space here where we manage the cement and infrastructure side of the business. It gets pretty humid in the office during the monsoon, and the fans are always going full speed. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and trying to figure out the logistics of getting materials through the crowded streets of the city. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just paperwork and coordination. We’ve been at this 169 NSC Bose Road address for a while now. You can hear the trams and the honking from the window while we’re trying to sort out the inventory. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the infra projects have what they need to keep moving. Sometimes the tea break is the best part of the afternoon when we can just sit for a minute before the next round of calls starts.
