Reshape Engineering Works(Dankuni) Hooghly

Our workshop is down at Chingrighata, in the Majherpara area, right on Canal South Road. We are part of the Reshape Engineering Works, and we’ve been operating out of this spot near Tiljala for a while. It’s a real industrial neighborhood, so you’ll find lots of small shops like ours all along the road. The place is usually full of the smell of grease and the sound of machines cutting through metal. We aren't the type of people who wear ties or sit in air-conditioned offices. Most of us have dirt under our fingernails and we're usually in the middle of some repair job. The floor is covered in scraps and the walls are lined with tools we’ve collected over the years. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have several big projects going on at once. We don't have a website or do any big advertising. Most of our customers come from the nearby Dankuni or Hooghly areas because they know we can fix things. We just take in the work, figure out how to do it, and get it done. It’s not always pretty, but it’s solid engineering work. Sometimes things go wrong or a machine breaks down, and we just have to figure out a way to fix it ourselves. It’s a tough way to make a living, but it’s what we know how to do.
