Prass Survey Group

We are located out in Baruipur, specifically in the Bangla area with the 743610 pincode. It’s a bit outside the main city hustle, which actually helps when we need to organize our gear. Prass Survey Group is mostly about getting out into the field, but this is where we come back to do the data entry and the mapping. The office is a simple place. We have our tripods, leveling instruments, and measuring tapes stacked in the corner. Sometimes the floors are a bit muddy because we just came back from a site visit in the rain. It’s just part of being surveyors. We spend a lot of time looking at land and trying to make sense of boundaries and elevations. It’s not always exciting, but it’s important. We have a few desks and some old maps pinned to the walls. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the numbers. Baruipur is a growing place, so there’s always something new happening with the land around here. We just try to keep up with the requests and make sure our equipment is calibrated. It’s a small group of us, and we’ve known each other for years. We don't put on airs. We just do the work as accurately as we can and move on to the next task.
