We are over here at 32 M.G Road in the Joka area. Being right near the Thakurpukur police station means things stay pretty orderly around the shop, though the traffic can be a nightmare. This is where P@H Joy Mining Equipments India Limited operates from. It is a very busy part of Kolkata, and the noise from the street outside 700104 is always something you have to deal with. Inside, we are mostly focused on the heavy machines and all the different parts that people need for mining work. It gets loud and a bit greasy sometimes, but that is just the nature of the business we are in. We do not have any shiny showrooms with bright lights. It’s mostly just shelves of heavy parts and desks covered in logs and old coffee mugs. People come in looking for specific gear for their projects, and we do our best to find it in the back room. The building has been here for a bit, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the Joka neighborhood. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the busiest place for us during our lunch breaks. We handle a lot of heavy stuff, so the floor is usually scuffed up and dusty. It is not the kind of place you would wear a fancy suit to. We just wear what is practical and get on with the day.
