Oisik Adak Creative Institue Trust

Oisik Adak Creative Institue Trust is located at Mahatirtha. That’s in the Nischintapur area, under the Kulpi police station. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you’re coming from the bigger towns, but it’s a lot more peaceful. The air feels a bit cleaner, and you don’t have the constant honking of horns. Mahatirtha is where we handle all our administrative stuff and keep the records. The building is sturdy enough, though the dampness from the rains sometimes leaves marks on the walls that we have to scrub off. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who know the area well. The post office in Nischintapur is where we go for all our mail, and it’s a short walk from here. Most days are pretty quiet, with just the sound of the birds or the occasional motorbike passing by. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment. It’s mostly just paper, pens, and a couple of old computers that take a while to start up in the morning. We take our time with things and try not to rush, mostly because rushing doesn’t seem to help much around here. It’s a modest setup in a rural part of the district, and we’re quite content with the way things are. We just do the work that needs to be done. The rooms are a bit cool in the winter, but we just wear extra layers.
