Nirmal Furniture Works

We are situated on Garia Main Road in the Mahamayatala area. If you know where the Allahabad Bank is, then you’ve basically found us because we’re right near it. Nirmal Furniture Works has been around this neighborhood for quite a stretch. Our workshop usually smells like sawdust and varnish, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. It’s a busy place with tools laying around and projects in various stages of being finished. We don’t have a polished showroom like the big chains you see in malls. Instead, you get to see the actual work happening. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much, especially with the buses honking on the main road. We do our best to get things done on time, though sometimes materials take longer to arrive than we’d like. That’s just the reality of furniture making. We talk to our customers plainly. If a particular wood isn't right for a job, we’ll say so. We’ve built a lot of tables and cabinets for the houses around Garia. It’s good work, even if it leaves us with tired backs at the end of the day. We aren't looking to expand into some massive company. We’re happy right here, helping out the locals and making sure the hinges don't squeak on the doors we fix. We just keep things practical and move on to the next piece of furniture that needs making.
