If you are looking for us, we are at 117/A, Rifle Club (West), in the Bansdroni New Govt Colony area of Kolkata. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it is home for us. The pin code is 700070. Kolkata is always moving, and Bansdroni is no different. Our office is right in the middle of a residential colony, so it feels very much like a neighborhood business. We have been doing construction work around here for quite some time. It is a lot of small projects and helping people build what they need. We have a few desks and some old maps of the city on the walls. The guys come in early to get their instructions before heading out to the sites. It can be a bit chaotic with the phone ringing and people stopping by to ask about their houses. We try to keep things simple. We aren't some big corporate firm with suit-wearing executives. We are just local builders who know the streets of Kolkata pretty well. Sometimes we have to deal with the rains during monsoon which slows everything down, but that is just part of living here. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the next steps for whatever we are building. It is a steady life, and we like the people we work with every day. It is a good job.
