M/S. Larsen & Toubro Limited, Ecc Division

Our spot is at Number 667 in Bidanpally, over in the Nabapally area of Garia, Kolkata. We’re part of the ECC Division of Larsen & Toubro. It’s a big name, but our local office feels a bit more grounded. We handle a lot of the engineering and construction coordination from this building. The traffic in Garia can be pretty rough, so getting in and out sometimes takes longer than we’d like. Inside, it’s mostly engineers and project planners huddled over desks. There are always rolls of drawings lying around and someone talking about concrete grades or steel reinforcements. We don’t really go in for the corporate polish here. It’s more about getting the technical details right so the guys on the ground can do their jobs safely. We have a small kitchen where we make tea, and that’s usually where the real talk happens. Most of the people here have lived in Kolkata their whole lives. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or fancy promises. We just look at the plans, check the schedules, and try to make sure everything is built the way it was designed. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when we’re in the middle of a big project, but that’s just the nature of construction. We’ve been at this address for a while now.
