You can find us at Plot Number 35 and 36 in Sector 1 of the SSEZ in Palta. It’s out in the 24 Parganas South district. Being in a Special Economic Zone means there are a lot of rules and security, so it feels quite different from a regular city street. We have a fair amount of space on our plots, which we need for all the materials we handle. The building is large and functional, mostly concrete and steel. We have different sections for different tasks, and people are always moving between them. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our entrance. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of machinery and people talking over the noise. We have a small canteen area where everyone gathers during breaks to eat and talk about things other than work. The weather out here can be quite intense, with heavy rain in the monsoon and a lot of heat in the summer. We just keep our heads down and get through the production schedules. We don't spend much on making the office look fancy because we are more concerned with what's happening on the floor. There are always pallets stacked up near the loading docks and trucks waiting to be filled. It’s a busy, industrial environment where everyone has a specific job to do. We’ve been here in Palta for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the commute.
