Our place is over at GP-49 on the New Green Park Road-7 in Kolkata. Specifically, we’re located in the Amartya Gardens area of Natunhaat. It’s a specific part of the city, and we’ve been here for a good amount of time. Working in Kolkata means dealing with the humidity and the busy streets, but we enjoy the life here. Our focus is on environmental solutions. It involves a lot of technical planning and making sure everything fits together. The office itself is nothing special to look at, just a workspace with plenty of files and a couple of computers. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we talk about the day's tasks. Natunhaat is a developing area, so there’s always something changing around us. We don't try to be something we aren't. We’re just a local branch doing our bit. Sometimes the roads around Green Park get a bit muddy during the monsoon, but we manage. We aren't big on corporate meetings; we usually just talk across the desks to get things sorted. People in the neighborhood know us as the environmental folks. We just stick to our routine and handle whatever projects come our way. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been at this for a while and don’t plan on changing much. It works for us.
